National Journal’s Presentation Center seeks a Policy & Data Visualization Fellow to join our team of experts producing insight and intelligence on how Washington works.
What is National Journal’s Presentation Center?
We analyze, synthesize, and visualize news and information related to policy and politics, publishing content exclusively for senior public policy practitioners and government affairs executives. Our diverse membership includes policymakers and senior professionals from the world’s leading companies, nonprofits, and associations.
Each week, we publish hundreds of slides, curating and translating complex policy information and election analysis into easy-to-edit slides and charts. Using this background and our expertise, we create standardized newsletter content and custom deliverables tailored to members’ needs. Our newsletters cover a range of topics, from general policy & politics, Energy & Environment; Finance; Healthcare; Defense & Cybersecurity; Tax, Labor & Economy and Technology. On the custom content side, our team produces 40-60 bespoke deliverables a week.
This position, which blends traditional research, publication, and consulting/advisory roles, demands a high intellectual metabolism. The ideal applicant will have experience translating complex policies and datasets into elegant written and visual summaries, as well as a background or demonstrated interest in health care or public health policy.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:
Across Atlantic Media, generally, the firm looks for two “pillar gifts” in its candidates. In all of us, these are more aspirational than actual, but they are central in our intentions.
Force of Intellect - Atlantic Media seeks a discipline and rigor of thought as manifested, often, in exceptional academic performance and, later, success in a professional environment.
Spirit of Generosity - Equally, Atlantic Media seeks what we term a spirit of generosity – a natural disposition towards service and selfless conduct.
Atlantic Media is an EOE of Minorities/Women/Vets/Disability.
