Re:think is looking for an experienced copywriter to help grow our native advertising practice and translate The Atlantic’s sensibility into award-winning branded content.


Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal marketing and sales partners to brainstorm ideas and conceive original content programs
  • Assist in the naming and written description of content programs for client pitches
  • Write and edit branded content, including print and digital advertising creative, infographics, headlines, and social copy
  • Write and edit promotional collateral, including creative award entries, senior client communication and marketing materials
  • This position will work most closely with the creative strategy marketing team and the content creation teams


The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience and is passionate about writing promotional or advertising copy
  • Is a creative thinker, excited to tell brand stories in a creative, innovative, experimental team, matched with high editorial standards and attention to detail
  • Has a deep understanding of how to attract and engage a digital audience including, but not limited to, using search, social media, and content partners;
  • Has a sensibility that fits Atlantic values: intelligent, fair, accurate, fast, curious, provocative;
  • A capacity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders—clients, teammates, senior management—about complex, multi-faceted ideas and programs
